PRESS RELEASE:[July 15, 08]
CHAMPIONSHIP FULL RULES MUAY THAI MAKES ITS DEBUT AT PECHANGA RESORT & CASINO

Temecula, CA - On July 19th, 2008, WCK Full Rules Muaythai makes its first appearance inside Pechanga Resort & Casino as three legendary fighters from Thailand: Kaensak Soh., Kongnapa and Neungsiam will enter the squared circle to test their incredible skills against three champions from around the world: Fabio Pinca (france), Shinichiro Ohno (Japan) and Hector Pena (USA). This dynamic fighting sport offers quick, action-packed fights with competitors using their full body to score hits and block the explosive attacks.

The undercard features five more action-packed bouts with local
professional stars Freddie Medrano (Murrieta) taking on Kevin Ross (Las
Vegas) and Luis Bio (San Diego) challenging Joe Davidson (Rancho
Cucamonga). The evening will heat up with a women's United States IAMTF Lightweight bout pitting the reigning champion Roxy Richardson
(Hollywood) vs. Colleen Schneider (San Francisco). To start the show two
Imperial Beach rising stars, Sergio Lopez and Pepe Espinoza, will test
their skills against Victor Acosta and Casey Parlett, respectively.

Muaythai is now sanctioned by the prestigious boxing organization the
WBC. The weight divisions and rules and regulations are the same except
Muaythai is not limited to just punching, fighters use their knees,
elbows and feet. Fighters wear regulation boxing gloves, fight three
minute rounds and wear no protection on their knees, elbows and feet.
This is WCK Full Rules Muaythai just like in Thailand. More information

About Muaythai

Muaythai (or Muay Thai), known as the elite striking martial art,
combines the use of the all eight striking weapons of the body: elbow,
knee, punch and kick. Muaythai was developed as a martial art by the
army of Thailand to help repel outside intervention from European
expansion into Southeast Asia. Thailand was the only country to defend
itself successfully and to deny this expansion. Muaythai fighting is
credited with being a major factor in helping keep Thailand independent.
Muaythai is the national sport of Thailand and is now part of the Asian
Olympic Games and is competed in over 112 countries throughout the
world.
